It’s Been 365 Days

It’s been 365 days since Lucy Mae was born at 4:00 in the afternoon.

Our yesterdays of the year collided with love and sorrow, as we learned to let go of what would’ve been, holding on to the hope of what will be. There’s been some days when we’ve had to intentionally and willfully choose to believe there’s more to come.

Along the way, we’ve lived by the words–“There’s always hope.”

There’s no question that Lucy Mae changed who we are and how we live the day, teaching us the reality of hope in the midst of our sorrow.  We will never forget or stop missing this little one, our sweet shining light.

So, exactly at 4:00 PM on this fourth day of March, we will give thanks for the gift of life.

Remembering Lucy Mae at 4 PM, giving thanks for the gift of life.
Shine on, sweet one!

More later . . . Kerrie
